2008-9 were very much about experimentation for me. Having learned the basics, I wanted to push the boundaries, and, whilst still focused on painting in oils, I worked on a wide variety of subjects from landscapes to portraiture, some with illusory frames, some with wild colours, some with heavy volumes of paint and even sand. Conclusion? I loved them all!
